Hi, my name is Claudia Sanchez. I started working at Oasis Charter Public School this past May 2016 and is going to be my 2nd year in education. I was born and raised in Salinas, CA. I received my B.A. from California State University Monterey Bay in Collavorative Human and Health Services. I have been tutoring elementary children for the past year and a half in language arts and math. I really love being here at Oasis and working with wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and photography.

Hola, me llamo Claudia Sánchez. Empecé a trabajar en la escuela pública Oasis Charter en mayo de 2016 y va a ser mi segundo año en educación. Nací y crecí en Salinas, CA. Recibí mi B.A. De la Universidad Estatal de California en Monterey Bay en Servicios Humanitarios y de Salud en Colapso. He estado enseñando a los niños de primaria durante el último año y medio en artes del lenguaje y matemáticas. Me encanta estar aquí en Oasis y trabajar con niños maravillosos. Disfruto pasando el tiempo con mi familia, viajando, y fotografía.

  Hello my name is Whitney Lopez and this will be my 3rd year here at Oasis! I absolutely love working for Oasis and have one son that attends here. I love working with kids and helping them grow in every aspect of life my greatest joy is seeing their faces light up when they learn something new! I started out as an Instructional aide and was recently given the privilege to help as an Office Assistant! I was born and raised in Hanford Ca a small town near Fresno. I have been married to the love of my life Jerry Lopez since May 2013 and together we decided to grow our family through adoption so we adopted our handsome son in April 2018 and are in the waiting process for a beautiful little girl. Some of my hobbies include Hiking, walking, going to the beach, painting, playing with my fur babies, spending time with my friends and family, and preaching and teaching people about the Bible. I am looking forward to the new school year and will do my best to make sure its a great one for everyone!

Aide Olivia Escobar

My name is Olivia Escobar. I was born and raised in Michoacán Mexico. I came to the United States when I was 17 years old. I was lucky enough to attend school here. I went to Everett Alvarez, then attended Hartell College and finally I transferred to UCLA, where I obtained my B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, hike, listening to music and I love to travel. I have been in many places around the world and I can’t get enough. I love working here at Oasis, I love it so much that this is my 5th year working here. I love making a difference in every child I work with. I love our students and I love being part of their everyday  academic growth. I am very excited for the good things this new school year will bring. 

 

Mi nombre es Olivia Escobar. Nací y crecí en Michoacán México y vine a vivir aquí a los Estados Unidos cuando tenia 17 años. Tuve la gran suerte de ir a la escuela aquí. Fui a la preparatoria Everett Alvarez, después a Hartnell College y finalmente me transferí a la Universidad de California en Los Ángeles, UCLA, de donde me gradué con una licenciatura en Español y una especialización en Estudios Latinoamericanos. En mi tiempo libre me gusta pasar tiempo con mi familia, practicar senderismo, escuchar música y me encanta viajar. He tenido la oportunidad de viajar a diferentes lugares del mundo y aún no me es suficiente. Me gusta mucho trabajar en Oasis, me gusta tanto que este ya es mi 5to año trabajando aquí. Me encanta hacer la diferencia en cada uno de los niños con los que trabajo. Quiero mucho a nuestros estudiantes y me encanta ser testigo de su crecimiento académico cada día. Estoy muy emocionada por todas las cosas buenas que traerá este nuevo año escolar.
