Dr. Natalie Zayas, MS, EdD
Executive Director
Hello, I am excited to be back at Oasis. As a teacher here, I loved the school, families, students, coworkers, and the mission. Constructivism is a learning method that I was drawn to well before I began my education to become an educator. My children went to a Piaget preschool so they were immersed in this method. Project-based learning is how I have taught for over 22 years. I am happy to be back in this new role working with staff, students, the community and the UCEN Board.
Stephanie Curley, M.Ed
Instructional Coordinator
My name is Stephanie Curley and I am excited to be the Instructional Coordinator this year! I have been an educator for thirty years: seventeen years as a 3rd or 4th grade teacher, one year as a MESA teacher in a high school and middle school, and twelve years as a K-12 librarian. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northeastern University. I enjoy spending my free time with family & friends, traveling and being outdoors. I’m looking forward to the 2023-2024 school and cannot wait to see how much our scholars grow!

This is Chianelle Flores-Marti the Resource Specialist/Special Education Coordinator. This is her sixth year at Oasis Charter Public School but her 8th year teaching Special Education. She was born and raised in Visalia and received her A.A. Degree in Sign language from Monterey Peninsula College while playing softball. She then received a full scholarship to Oklahoma Baptist University for softball (pitcher) where she graduated in 2013 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary K-8 Education and Special Education Mild/Moderate K-12. She received her credentials in Elementary Ed K-8/Special Ed Mild/Moderate K-12 at the same time she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Oklahoma. She came back to the area to live and start a life with her husband since this area is so beautiful and has the best weather. When not teaching, she is spending most of her time with her family of boys (husband, Gio, Leo) and a new/last addition of another boy. Also, she enjoys coaching softball, working out, taking her dog for walks, lounging with her animals and husband, visiting family, going to the beach, going to sporting events, traveling(when she can), and watching a lot of movies.
